Google Plus vs Facebook

Google plus opens for all and growing rapid fast, of course it might not have the same strength of the Facebook in terms of users, but still considering as one of the top 3 social networks. Now the question is which one is better for your SERP rankings SEO rankings?, because these two social networks works in different way but mostly we can say that Facebook has nothing to do with the organic ranking change, as most of its content is private and not index-able except the pages open to public. Still they don’t help much in the SERP changes, then what about Google Plus.
From the day Google Plus open to the public, Google is trying to hard-code it in to all its other products to make it a boom. To the continuation to achieve this, Google embedded the Google Plus statuses in to Google search results (what should I say, I feel nostalgic whenever Google do some changes to the search algo, may be my weakness ) . Now its clear that Google Plus can help you in bettering your rankings in the search results.
Let us check one after another point to see which social network can better your rankings and how..??

Which one is Good?, Google+ or Facebook:
* As we saw that Google Plus statuses are index-able in the search results, then definitely Google Plus is a clear winner in terms of SEO.
* But Facebook has a unique and great user base, may be no other social network is even close to it.
* Facebook pages can barely help you in SERP, but very good for brand engagement.
* Google Plus pages, of course works as your Google profile and also index-able, so definitely good for rankings.
* Google Plus works in terms of ranking way, but to engage and grab the customers, I think  Facebook is still a step ahead to Google.
* The more pluses mean more better rankings and better CTR.
* The more likes means more engagement and more connections.

Conclusion:

Without even a single doubt, Google Plus is a fair winner in terms of SEO, Facebook still works like a social engine, not SEO type.
